CenturyLink promotes Midwest region president

Ring was previously CenturyLink’s region president for its 12-state Midwest Region, which includes Iowa. In this new role, Ring will be responsible for global data center operations that support CenturyLink cloud, hosting and managed services businesses at more than 55 data centers located in North America, Europe and Asia. A Minneapolis resident, Ring was a member of the Minnesota Governor’s Broadband Task Force from 2013 to 2015.
