The Meredith Corporation Foundation has made a commitment of $150,000 to ChildServe’s Forward Together campaign. The gift, which will span three years, will help ChildServe open a pediatric behavioral health clinic, build a new pediatric inpatient rehabilitation unit and expand its ability to provide specialized, 24/7 nursing care for individuals with complex medical needs. “We are so inspired by the work ChildServe does to improve the health and well-being of so many children in our community,” said Mell Meredith, the foundation’s chairman. “We are honored to continue our support of those efforts that make life better for thousands of Central Iowa families through this donation.” The Meredith Corporation Foundation has supported ChildServe through charitable giving for more than two decades. To date, 167 donors have contributed more than $9.54 million to ChildServe’s Forward Together campaign, which is nearing its goal of raising $10 million.
