China cuts imports of U.S. pork in half

China bought 263,000 metric tons after placing tariffs on the meat in response to U.S. tariffs on China’s goods. Two rounds of tariffs totaled 62 percent on frozen U.S. pork. China is the largest producer and consumer of pork in the world.
