Lynnae Hentzen, executive director and co-founder of the Center on Sustainable Communities (COSC), has announced she will resign, effective May 31.

Hentzen said in a press release that she is stepping aside to spend more time with her family and to uncover the next chapter in her career.

“We have an amazing team in place and a solid reputation around the state, so I feel good making way for someone else to be in the driver’s seat,” she said.

The COSC originally started out of Hentzen’s home and is now a team of six employees, a 13-member board of directors and many councils, committees, volunteers and members.
