Political commentator Cokie Roberts will serve as keynote speaker for the 20th annual Iowa Women’s Foundation luncheon, the organization recently announced. The event will take place Oct. 6 at the Coralville Marriott Hotel and Convention Center in Coralville. In more than 40 years in broadcasting, Roberts has won countless awards including three Emmys. She was inducted into the Broadcasting and Cable Hall of Fame, and was cited by the American Women in Radio and Television as one of the 50 greatest women in the history of broadcasting.
