A community conversation focused on workforce stability and economic opportunity is scheduled for 10-11:30 a.m. Monday at the Ankeny Public Library, 1250 S.W. District Drive in Ankeny. Hosting the event are UpLift – The Central Iowa Basic Income Pilot, Project IOWA, United Way of Central Iowa, Iowa Vocational Rehabilitation Services and St. Vincent de Paul. Local experts will discuss inclusive employment, economic mobility and social advocacy. The event is free and open to the public. However, registration is required.
