Community Foundation gives $25,000 to The Homestead
The Community Foundation of Greater Des Moines has given $25,000 to The Homestead to customize its autism clinic, which serves children and families affected by autism. “This grant from the Community Foundation will help us provide the early intervention strategies to help children with autism increase their communication and social skills, which in turn decreases the need for expensive and lifelong supports,” Steve Muller, executive director of The Homestead, said in a news release.
