Two Iowa Supreme Court oral arguments involving constitutional issues will be live streamed on Sept 14 in honor of Constitution Day. Students from around the state will be encouraged to watch the courtroom arguments in Board of Water Works Trustees v. Sac County Board of Supervisors, et al., beginning at 9 a.m. and Godfrey v. State beginning at 1 p.m. The program, sponsored by the Iowa Judicial Branch, the Iowa Department of Education and the Iowa State Bar Association, includes a nine-minute online orientation video. Both oral arguments will be streamed on the Iowa Judicial Branch YouTube channel.
