Master Builders of Iowa has presented its masters award for projects valued at $10 million or more to Neumann Bros. Inc. of Des Moines. Master Builders, a construction industry trade association, said Neumann maintained a flawless safety record under difficult weather conditions while working on the Charles Benson Bear ’39 Recreation and Athletic Center at Grinnell College.

Architectural Wall Systems of West Des Moines received the association’s outstanding safety achievement award for specialty contractors, and JE Dunn Construction Group Inc., a Kansas City, Mo., contractor with an office in West Des Moines, received the same award in the general contractor category.
