The Corporation for Economic Development in Des Moines announced that it will hold a 30-year celebration event on June 6. The certified development corporation originates and services U.S. Small Business Administration 504 loans and administers three Community Development Block Grant funds on behalf of the city of Des Moines. Des Moines Mayor Frank Cownie and former Gov. Robert Ray are among the scheduled speakers.
