Since its March launch, the Center on Sustainable Communities (COSC) has certified three companies through its COSC Evergreen certification program, which measures the impact of sustainable choices made by individuals within their professional, civic and social communities.

The ReWall Co., Resource Development Consultants (RDC), and Christensen Development have all achieve certification. COSC Evergreen calculates the relative sustainability of each participating individual in which performance is measured against all other users.

In order to become certified, individuals within the organization respond to randomly generated questions regarding their everyday choices. Organization ratings are based on the average score of more than 10 percent of their members over a three-month performance period. Top performers receive COSC certification ratings from Evergreen to Platinum.
