Craft beers on display
The Iowa Brewers Guild will take over 10th Street in the Western Gateway on May 21 to celebrate American Craft Beer Week, which runs May 16-22. The inaugural Iowa Craft Brew Fest will feature more than 20 Iowa breweries and more than 80 craft beers, along with regional and national micro-brews, live music and food provided by Raccoon River Brewing Co. Tickets are $15 when purchased in advance and $20 at the gate. The price includes unlimited beer samplings on 10th Street between Walnut and Mulberry streets. Go to www.midwesttix.com for tickets.
