CRE fundamentals improving, unevenly
U.S. commercial real estate fundamentals are on the upswing, according to a new survey from Pricewaterhouse Coopers. The Nashville Business Journal reported that the advisory firm is looking for the performance of the office, retail, industrial and multifamily markets to improve from 2011 to 2014. The majority of office buildings are expected to recover by the end of the year; the industrial sector will be in recovery in 2011 and 2013; and the retail market will enter recovery mode in mid-2013. The survey showed that multifamily properties will see expansion through 2014.
