Crosbie receives Immigrant Entrepreneur Spirit Award
Rowena Crosbie, pictured, president of Tero International, recently received the Immigrant Entrepreneur Spirit Award, awarded to a first generation immigrant who has demonstrated a lifelong commitment to professional and business excellence, and altruistic pursuits. Crosbie was presented the award at the International Entrepreneurs Summit, held Nov. 17 in Ankeny. Crosbie, originally from Canada, immigrated to the United States in 1990 for her career. What started as a three-year assignment led to her founding Tero, a research and corporate training company based in Clive.
