Deadline approaching for FEMA disaster funding

Residents from Woodbury, Monona, Harrison, Pottawattamie, Shelby, Fremont and Mills counties have until July 1 to apply for some of the $13.3 million in federal disaster assistance to aid in paying up to 18 months of rent, or grant money dedicated to repairing homes and other personal property. Iowans can seek assistance at disasterassistance.gov, by downloading the FEMA app, or calling 800-621-FEMA (3362).
