About: This event is a community collaborative partnership with the purpose of educating, empowering and connecting members of underrepresented populations to serve our community on nonprofit boards. The ideal participant is someone who has an interest in community service, wants to learn how to serve on a nonprofit board, and feels they offer a new perspective. Participants will receive a two-hour training and participate in a networking session with leaders of nonprofits in the Des Moines area.
