Deere donates to Civic Center
The Civic Center of Greater Des Moines announced that it has received a $20,000 grant from the John Deere Foundation and John Deere Des Moines Operations. The grant will help support Civic Center educational initiatives, including the Applause Series, a daytime matinee performance series for students. Each year, the Applause Series provides more than 46,000 students and educators with opportunities to participate in, understand and appreciate the performing arts. Participating schools are charged $1 per ticket.
