Delta Dental foundation makes oral health grants
The Delta Dental of Iowa Foundation has awarded $66,707 to seven Iowa organizations to improve the oral health of Iowans. The awards include $4,500 to Children and Families of Iowa in Des Moines for a cavity-free kids in-home counseling project, and $10,000 to the Iowa Public Health Association to help establish an Iowa Community Water Fluoridation Coalition. Since Delta Dental began the mini-grant program in 2006, more than $1.2 million has been given to Iowa agencies to improve the oral health of Iowans.
