Denver-based architecture firm relocating to Des Moines

The firm offers landscape architecture design and community engagement services, including for populations that may not be well represented locally or across the state. Studio Siembra Founder Magdalena Aravena is a landscape architect and bilingual community engagement specialist with over a decade of experience designing inclusive spaces with experience in major cities including Chicago, Denver and Atlanta, a news release said. The move to Des Moines reflects Studio Siembra’s commitment to community impact, strategic growth and equity and inclusion, the release said. “We are excited to immerse ourselves and continue growing in a city that values creativity and innovation as much as we do and to contribute our unique skills and ideas to the local landscapes, communities, and beyond,” Aravena said in a statement. Studio Siembra’s new office will open this month.
