Department of Administrative Services receives procurement award
The procurement division of the Iowa Department of Administrative Services (DAS) has received an Annual Achievement of Excellence in Procurement Award from the National Purchasing Institute.
The award recognizes best practices in staff certification and training, as well as performance measurement. The DAS procurement division scored 150 out of a possible 175 points, placing it in the top 20 percent of a field of 181 applicants. It was one of 10 statewide procurement offices to win the award.
