Des Moines Arts Festival opens applications
The Des Moines Arts Festival begins accepting artist applications today for the award-winning three-day festival to be held June 23-25, 2017, at Western Gateway Park. The festival also encourages Iowanresidents who are currently enrolled in an institution of higher education anywhere in the country to apply for the Emerging Iowa Artist program. The application deadline for the 2017 event, which attracts more than 200,000 people each year, is Dec. 5. For more information on the application process, click here.
