Two Iowa metros have been ranked among the top 10 U.S. cities for tech workers, according to the financial research site SmartAsset.

Two Iowa metros have been ranked among the top 10 U.S. cities for tech workers, according to the financial research site SmartAsset. Des Moines is ranked No. 2, and SmartAsset reports that more than 4 percent of Des Moines workers are in tech fields, with a low unemployment rate of 2.3 percent for bachelor’s degree holders. Cedar Rapids, meanwhile, is No. 4 on the list, and SmartAsset reports that just under 4.3 percent of workers are in tech fields.
