Des Moines Global Shapers opens applications to young professionals
Young professionals ages 20-30 can apply to join the Des Moines Global Shapers through Jan. 31, the organization announced this week. The initiative, led by the World Economic Forum, offers opportunity for members to volunteer on local solutions to international issues and broaden their professional network. Informational sessions will be hosted from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at Peace Tree Brewing on Jan. 6, at Confluence Brewing on Jan. 23, and from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Ritual Cafe on Jan. 11.
