The new branding aims to create a “bold modern look” and reflect the airport’s vision for Iowa’s future locally and nationally, a news release said. The release said the logo will debut at the end of next week on the north end of the airport’s new parking garage, which is scheduled for completion at the end of June. “This new brand reflects who we are today and where we’re headed,” Brian Mulcahy, executive director of the Des Moines Airport Authority, said in a prepared statement. “We needed a visual identity that matches the scale and vision of our terminal project while staying true to our goal of making travel easier for our passengers. We’re proud to carry this brand into the future.”
