Des Moines releases October traffic camera report
The city of Des Moines collected a net revenue of $112,675 from tickets issued by the Interstate 235 speed camera, mobile speed cameras and five red light cameras.
A total of 3,687 citations were issued during the month, with 2,375 coming from the I-235 speed camera. The number of total citations issued was the lowest since January.
For the year, the city has issued 44,193 citations and collected a net revenue of $1,415,672.
