The Des Moines school district will host a job fair from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. July 30 at East High School, 815 E. 13th St. The district has numerous full- and part-time positions to fill including special education associates, public safety officers, Metro Kids child care staff, bus drivers, bus associates, substitute teachers, associates, nurses and sign language interpreters. Prior to the job fair, applicants are encouraged to complete an online application at jobs.dmschools.org, but walk-ins are also welcome. District staff will be on-site to assist with applications, answer questions, and conduct interviews.
