Career-site company DHI Group Inc., which has operations in Urbandale, reported fourth-quarter net income of $2.9 million, or 6 cents per share, on revenues of $38 million. By comparison, fourth-quarter 2017 net income was $11.8 million or 24 cents per share, with revenues of $50.9 million. Total fourth quarter 2018 revenues were 25 percent lower year-over-year from 2017 due to the divestment of the company’s non-tech businesses and the closure of Dice Europe. Net income for full-year 2018 was $7.2 million, down 55 percent from 2017. However, ongoing tech-focused revenues in the fourth quarter of $38 million were essentially unchanged year over year for the first time in nearly three years. “We ended 2018 with strong momentum, reaching an important inflection point in our business,” said Art Zeile, president and CEO. “We stabilized our ongoing tech-focused revenues, improved our profitability and made significant progress in delivering against our tech-focused strategy.”
