DMACC CEO Golf Invitational raises $350,000 for scholarships, despite canceled event
The annual Des Moines Area Community College CEO Golf Invitational raised $350,000 for student scholarships this year, despite canceling the daylong golf outing at the private Talons of Tuscany golf course in Ankeny due to the COVID-19 pandemic, DMACC announced this week. Forty sponsors for the 2020 event contributed to fundraising this year. The DMACC CEO Golf Invitational has raised more than $3.2 million over the last 13 years.
