DMACC, ISU to sign agreement for improved transfer program
Admission officials at Des Moines Area Community College and Iowa State University recently created an improved transfer program called DMACC — ISU Connect that offers new advantages for DMACC graduates planning to attend ISU, including dedicated housing, deferred application fees and early entry. According to a DMACC news release, about 5,000 DMACC students transfer to Iowa State annually. The new agreement builds upon the one signed in 2006 by the presidents of both institutions. DMACC President Rob Denson and ISU President Wendy Wintersteen will sign the new agreement and share more details on July 12 at 3 p.m. The event will be held on the DMACC Ankeny Campus in Building 5.
