DMPA hosting competition for local artists
Des Moines Performing Arts is hosting two competitions for local artists, inspired by themes from “The Bridges of Madison County,” which will open its national tour at the Des Moines Civic Center on Nov. 28. The competitions are for photographers (The World Inside a Frame Competition) and musicians (Bridges Covered Competition). Both competitions have no entry fee and are now open to the public.
