DOT Transportation Improvement Program available for review
The Iowa Department of Transportation’s (DOT) draft of the Iowa Statewide Transportation Improvement Program is available for public review. The program identifies projects proposed to be authorized for federal funding provided during fiscal years 2013 to 2016. The draft can be viewed at www.iowadot.gov, and a public meeting will take place from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. on Aug. 23 at the Iowa DOT headquarters in Ames. Comments on the draft can also be submitted to the Iowa DOT or the Des Moines Area Metropolitan Planning Organization.
