Corridor Business Journal: Angela Winnike, the Iowa City Downtown District’s first “nighttime mayor,” is leaving after little more than a year and a half in the role. Winnike, who also works as chief of retail operations for Java House, will be moving to Los Angeles for a new position in mid-December. She was hired by the Iowa City Downtown District in April 2017 to support the entertainment, hospitality, and food and beverage industry, and help develop the area’s nightlife offerings.
