The Downtown Winter Farmers’ Market will be held Friday and Saturday at Capital Square.

The Downtown Winter Farmers’ Market will be held Friday and Saturday at Capital Square. Among the offerings: Duck, ham, wine, cheese, tree ornaments, poinsettias and other holiday fare. In other market news, the outdoor Downtown Farmers’ Market’s Meals from the Market Program donated 34,082 pounds of food with an estimated value of $119,285. That is equivalent to 34,082 meals donated to Des Moines Area Religious Council pantries.
