Drake professor Yu to address United Nations
Peter Yu, the Kern family chair in intellectual property law at Drake University Law School, will teach diplomats and United Nations personnel about the protection and enforcement of intellectual property rights, focusing on the basic principles of copyright.
Yu will speak in front of the U.N. on Wednesday at its headquarters in New York on behalf of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). Yu is the general editor of the WIPO Journal, and is the founding director of the Intellectual Property Law Center at Drake.
