Drake University is hosting President of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani on Wednesday morning for a moderated discussion followed by an audience Q&A and VIP reception. The moderated discussion will cover several key topics, including the president’s path from activist to president, the strengthening of Kosovo’s statehood and the president’s response to regional conflict. Drake’s ties to Kosovo have included a 2017 partnership with the Kosovo Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology, as well as numerous study abroad and post-graduate job placement opportunities. An announcement of an expanded educational partnership will be made during the event. The discussion is scheduled from 10 to 11 a.m. at Sheslow Auditorium on the Drake campus.
