Drake University, in partnership with Iowa Public Radio, announced that Kai Ryssdal will be featured speaker for the annual Bucksbaum Lectureship in Business at 7 p.m. Nov. 5 at the Knapp Center, 2601 Forest Ave. in Des Moines. Ryssdal is the host and senior editor of the nationally syndicated financial news program “Marketplace,” which can be heard  at 6:30 p.m. on IPR News or via podcast. Ryssdal will be interviewed by Ben Kieffer, host of IPR’s news program “River to River.” “We are thrilled to welcome a journalist of Kai Ryssdal’s caliber to our campus,” Alanah Mitchell, dean of Drake’s Zimpleman College of Business, said in a prepared statement. “His ability to distill complex economic issues for a broad audience is unparalleled.
