Drake University has announced Kelly Bruhn, professor of public relations and associate dean of Drake’s School of Journalism and Mass Communications has been inducted into the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) College of Fellows. The induction process requires at least 20 years of experience, an Accreditation in Public Relations, and a demonstrated record of advancing the profession, leadership, and community service. Bruhn is now one of four PRSA Fellows in Iowa. The other three fellows are also Drake alumni. “I am humbled to join this distinguished group, but this honor truly highlights the collaborative and exceptional community we have at the Drake SJMC,” Bruhn said in a prepared statement. “This is a credit to our talented students, dedicated faculty, and the outstanding alumni who paved the way. The fact that all living Iowa Fellows are connected to Drake is a powerful story about our program’s commitment to shaping leaders in the profession.”
