Just pull up and roll up a sleeve — the Polk County Health Department’s annual Drive-Thru Flu Clinic is returning to the Iowa State Fairgrounds on Saturday, Oct. 1, between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. The clinic, for people ages 9 and up, enables residents to receive their vaccinations without leaving their vehicles. Participants should use the main entrance on Grand Avenue or the East 33rd Street entrance off University Avenue to access the clinic.
