Early registration is now open for Iowa Women Lead Change’s Central Iowa Conference. This year’s conference will be a two-day event held Nov. 6-7 at the Community Choice Credit Union Convention Center in Des Moines. The event features keynote speakers Geena Davis, Oscar and Golden Globe Award-winning actress; Cy Wakeman, international speaker and bestselling author; Jeannette Walls, author of “The Glass Castle;” Gale V. King, executive vice president and chief administrative officer of Nationwide; Stedman Graham, businessman, educator and speaker; Joanne Lipman, former chief content officer of Gannett and editor-in-chief of USA Today; and Jeffrey Tobias Halter, blogger, speaker and expert on advancing women by engaging men. Cost for the Central Iowa Conference is $525 per person and continues through Sept. 3. Student registration is available for $99. Register for the event online.
