Sandy Ehrig, co-chair of the Empower Rural Iowa Initiative and chair of the Rural Development Council, has been awarded the 2019 America’s Small Business Development Center Iowa Champion Award, the Iowa SBDC announced on Monday.

Ehrig accepted her award April 11 at the Iowa Rural Development Summit, held in Grinnell.
