Elevate offers scholarships for manufacturing training
Elevate Advanced Manufacturing, a nonprofit initiative encouraging careers in manufacturing, is offering 15 scholarships of $500 each to Iowa high school seniors. The students must be interested in studying a manufacturing-related career at one of Iowa’s 15 community colleges. One award will be made per college region. Careers could include welding, machining, automation and robotics. Online applications at www.elevateiowa.com are due April 1. Read the full news release.
