EMC gift supports Civil War exhibit
A $60,000 gift from the EMC Insurance Foundation will support the Iowa Department of Cultural Affairs’ (DCA) traveling museum exhibit about Iowans and the American Civil War. “The Fiery Trial: Iowa and the Civil War” is scheduled to launch April 12 in conjunction with activities commemorating the 150th anniversary of the start of the Civil War.
