Energy-efficient design winners announced
Recipients of the 2016 Excellence in Energy Efficient Design Award were announced at the 2016 American Institute of Architects Iowa regional convention in Des Moines.
Winners included:
- Shive-Hattery Architecture + Engineering, for the Oaknoll Spring street expansion.
- FEH Design and EDA Inc., for the Sioux City Community School District Morningside Elementary School.
- OPN Architects and Design Engineers, for Alexander Elementary School.
- Prochaska & Associates, for the Fremont County Law Enforcement Center.
- Straka Johnson Architects and MEP Engineers, for the Asbury Community Services Campus.
- Wells + Associates PC and KCL Engineering, for Moore Elementary School addition and renovation.
- OPN Architects and Design Engineers, for the Iowa City Community School District Penn Elementary addition and remodeling.
- City Construction and Price Industrial Electric, for the Altorfer Ag Service Center.
- Shive-Hattery Architecture + Engineering, for the Mid-Prairie Community School District Middle School addition and renovation.
- Shive-Hattery Architecture + Engineering, for the Cedar Rapids Community School District Washington HVAC renovation.
