Expanded LifeFlight service from Fort Dodge begins June 1
UnityPoint Health – Des Moines will expand its LifeFlight air ambulance service with a second helicopter to be based at Trinity Regional Medical Center in Fort Dodge, beginning June 1. The expansion in service, as previously announced in January, will allow UnityPoint Health to provide improved emergency transportation services to the north central area of Iowa. “We are excited about the partnership with UnityPoint Health – LifeFlight,” said Troy Martens, Trinity’s chief operating officer. “Basing an air ambulance service at Trinity provides a tremendous benefit to our community and region.”
