Kim Reynolds said 10 million crop acres were affected by the storms at a press conference this morning. Iowa Secretary of Agriculture Mike Naig said on Twitter: “The severe storms that ripped through Iowa today caused significant damage to crops, grain bins and livestock buildings. This setback comes at a time when so many farmers are still recovering from the COVID-19-related supply chain disruptions. My thoughts are with all those affected by today’s storm as they start the clean up process.”
