Emails allegedly written by Facebook Inc. co-founder Mark Zuckerberg are cited in a new court filing by Paul Ceglia as proof of his claim that he’s entitled to 50 percent of the company under a 2003 contract, Bloomberg reported.

The revised complaint includes new allegations supporting Ceglia’s claim to own part of the world’s largest social networking site, including that Zuckerberg sent numerous emails discussing the terms of the contract and early development of the site with Ceglia.

Ceglia alleges that Zuckerberg defrauded him by lying about the early success of the site. A Facebook official called the lawsuit “fraudulent.”

On the same day that Ceglia revised his complaint, a federal appeals court ubheld the settlement of a years-long legal battle between Zuckerberg and former Harvard students Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss. The Winklevoss twins argued that a 2008 court agreement should be voided because Facebook didn’t disclose an accurate valuation of its shares before they agreed to settle for $65 million in stock and cash.

In other technology news, Cisco Systems Inc. announced it will close its Flip video-camera unit and cut about 550 jobs as it reorganizes its consumer business, which has faced declining profitability.
