GuideOne ImaginEve!, Des Moines’ family-friendly, alcohol-free New Year’s Eve celebration, will take place from 4-8 p.m. Dec. 31 at Hy-Vee Hall at the Iowa Events Center.

The free event has expanded to provide more entertainment options for ages 10 and up, while still offering a wide variety of activities for younger children.

The event is expanding by 50,000 square feet this year to include a mobile video game vehicle, mini-golf, laser tag and a karaoke stage. GuideOne ImaginEve! is sponsored by GuideOne Insurance, WHO-HD Channel 13, Praise 940 AM and Lite 104.1.
