Kim Reynolds lifted a March emergency declaration allowing retailers to suspend can and bottle redemptions, the Fareway grocery chain says it plans to continue to reject returns for deposit despite risking criminal charges. A Fareway spokeswoman said accepting potentially contaminated containers inside stores during the COVID-19 pandemic poses great risk to employees and customers.
