The business of farming and issues of concern to absentee and non-operating landowners will be topics of discussion during “This Land Is Your Land 2012,” a conference for landowners from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Friday at the Hy-Vee Conference Center in West Des Moines. Featured speakers are Loren Kruse, editor of Successful Farming magazine, Neil Hamilton, director of Drake University’s Agricultural Law Center, and Steve Johnson, a farm management specialist with Iowa State University Extension and Outreach.
