FBL Financial Group Inc. reported third-quarter net income of $28.7 million, or 93 cents per share, and operating income of $30.2 million, or 98 cents per share.

FBL Financial Group Inc. reported third-quarter net income of $28.7 million, or 93 cents per share, and operating income of $30.2 million, or 98 cents per share. In the year-ago quarter, the West Des Moines company reported net income of $15.9 million, or 53 cents per share, and operating income of $23 million, or 76 cents per share.
